Senior Accountant
I'm partnered with the President at a multi-million dollar, manufacturing organization located near Roselle, IL. This company has been on a steady growth trajectory for the past 15 years and is known for its market leadership and national presence. It's a fantastic environment to grow your career.
In this role, you'll report directly to the Accounting Manager and take ownership of key accounting functions. You'll also have plenty of cross-functional collaboration, allowing you to make a significant impact across the organization. Job Description
- Assist with month-end close duties
- Perform consolidation checks
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Identify process improvements and procedures
- Collaborate with business units to develop company cash reconciliation
- Assist with inter-company out-of-balance reconciliation process
- Provide accounting support when needed

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting
- Construction, manufacturing, distribution, or related industry experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Knowledge of GAAP
