Compensation Analyst

Northwest Indianapolis, IN (Fully Onsite) $35.00 - $43.00/hour Contract through the end of 2026 with potential extension LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced HRIS & Compensation Analyst to support compensation planning, HR data management, benefits administration, reporting, and HR technology initiatives for a leading Indianapolis-area employer. Please note: This is a fully onsite position. Only local candidates currently residing within commuting distance of Northwest Indianapolis will be considered. Key Responsibilities Support compensation planning activities, salary reviews, and related HR data management processes Conduct compensation, benefits, and employee data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Extract, analyze, validate, and maintain large datasets from HRIS and payroll systems Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics using Excel and HR systems Perform data quality reviews, system testing, and validation activities Support HR technology implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives Maintain data integrity through ongoing audits, troubleshooting, and data cleanup efforts Handle highly confidential employee and compensation information with discretion Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting, and data analysis Experience with ADP and/or Workday required Experience supporting HRIS, payroll, compensation, benefits, or HR operations functions Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proven ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive employee information Strong written and verbal communication skills Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
