The Office of Judicial Administration is responsible for the efficient administration of all agencies that operate under the direction of the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court. That includes 200 personnel; fiscal management; communication; technology; legal services; intergovernmental relations; services for the trial courts; and support for court boards, commissions, and committees. The Office is headed by Chief Administrative Officer Aaron Hood, who reports directly to the Chief Justice of Indiana and serves as the link between the Chief Justice and the agencies of the Court.

Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $55,224 but may be commensurate with education and/or experience.

About the Job:

The Indiana Office of Court Technology supports stakeholders and applications across the justice system. This position works closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs, build solutions to improve processes, and support existing applications. The endeavor is to streamline processes, bridge entities, and develop improvements using technology. As part of the team, you’ll work with users and systems that impact the judicial branch of Indiana. A Day in the Life:

As a business analyst, you will assist in the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of applications and business processes used by agencies and stakeholders supported by the Indiana Office of Court Technology. This position serves as a liaison between IOCT and key stakeholders for project and software management. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document their needs and requirements

• Train users, create and maintain supplemental materials

• Respond to questions and issues originated through the Help Desk

• Resolve problem situations in a professional manner and accurately communicate pertinent information to end users and management

• Develop an understanding of the criminal justice and judicial systems

• Provide support and maintenance for current software applications as well as future applications

• Analyze current processes and workflows, evaluate efficiencies and make process improvement recommendations

• Perform activities through the software development life cycle

• Partner with software development to determine designs and system configurations; track process and deadlines; answer questions, provide feedback and work through bug fixes
