Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Princeton, New Jersey Type: Contract Compensation: $20.00
Responsibilities
- Prepare laundry product formulations (detergents), measure pH, specific gravity, and viscosity, perform stability tests, detergent & softener performance evaluation, fragrance evaluation by test panels, record keeping, and housekeeping
- Conduct all applicable testing relating to fabric care in the Laundry Lab group
- Utilize washing machines for fabric care projects
Requirements
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related Science
- Hands-on laboratory experience preferred (can be from school)
- Experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.) is preferred
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 40lbs (e.g., laundry detergent and related products)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high priority environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good organizational and documentation skills (accurate lab notebook maintenance)
- Strong computer skills a plus
- Possess a strong work ethic and a good teamwork attitude
- Potential to drive to the Rocky Hill, NJ site on occasion (very infrequent)
