A well-established local transportation company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.
- Process accounts payable, including invoice entry and verification
- Prepare and send billing requests
- Assist with driver settlements and related documentation
- Maintain and update spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
- Support general accounting functions as needed
- 2+ years of general accounting or accounts payable experience
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
