Job Summary The Public Policy and Administration Department is currently seeking a Temporary Social Media Outreach Coordinator to join their team of professionals. Duties Include Plans, drafts, and schedules departmental content across social media, websites, newsletters, and advertising campaigns that advance recruitment and outreach objectives. Transforms departmental updates and messaging into engaging, accessible digital content for diverse audiences. Maintains departmental websites and online platforms to ensure information remains current, accurate, and user-friendly. Designs and updates promotional materials, including flyers, graphics, brochures, presentations, and recruitment collateral. Tracks, compiles, and reports digital media analytics in partnership with the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Marketing and Communication Team. Recommends strategies to strengthen departmental visibility, audience engagement, recruitment efforts, and public outreach. Gathers and organize stories, images, and key information from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders for use in departmental communications. Perform other communications, marketing, outreach, and related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in related field; OR six (6) years of experience in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
