Registered Nurse Nursing

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze relevant patient health data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe care.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide learning opportunities for patients and families.
