Payroll Consultant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Payroll Consultant will manage payroll processes, ensure compliance with wage regulations, and reconcile payroll data for accuracy. Key responsibilities Process employee status changes, including hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments Prepare payroll reports and support documentation for audits Reconcile payroll data and identify discrepancies related to payroll batches and bonus processing Required qualifications Strong knowledge of wage and hour regulations, payroll taxes, and deductions Experience with payroll systems, preferably UKG Ready Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables Familiarity with federal, state, and provincial payroll requirements in the US and Canada Experience in calculating PTO, sick leave, and holiday pay
