Warehouse Coordinator (1st shift)

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will assist with receiving, inventory management, material handling, and shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely support of production and customer requirements. This position contributes to maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Job Description Responsibilities and qualifications are detailed below. Responsibilities Assist with daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and shipping of materials. Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical verification, and system updates. Assist with inbound and outbound shipments by verifying materials, checking documentation, and preparing items for shipment. Safely move materials using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (as trained) while following proper storage and handling procedures. Enter and update inventory transactions in ERP or warehouse management systems to maintain accurate records. Help complete receiving logs, shipping paperwork, and inventory records; report discrepancies to warehouse leadership. Inspect materials for damage or non-conformance and escalate issues as needed. Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workspace. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Physical & Environmental Demands May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a production environment where protective equipment is required. Exposure to metal materials, sharp edges, and noise from production machinery. Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
