My client is a global medical device manufacturer looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead lab and QC operations across a three-shift production environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership over team culture, compliance, and product release decisions - at a moment when the function is being rebuilt and shaped for the next phase of growth.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee day-to-day testing priorities across routine, in-process, stability, and finished product workflows
• Lead environmental monitoring and critical utilities operations
• Make release decisions for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Implement and improve quality systems, SOPs, and specifications to maintain regulatory compliance
• Develop and audit staff; keep training records current
• Identify risks in lab operations and lead teams to resolution

About you

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Background in microbiology or chemistry within a medical device manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements applied in a manufacturing setting
• Track record managing across a matrix organization
• Comfortable translating quality strategy into operational plans and holding a team accountable to them
