Overview Part‑time University Fieldwork Coach in the Department of Educational Leadership. The coach works with preliminary credential candidates preparing for K‑12 state administrative roles. The position is temporary, filled from a faculty pool based on enrollment needs. Responsibilities Co‑develop the course syllabus. Meet regularly with candidates. Use questioning and coaching strategies to foster continuous self‑assessment and reflection. Provide timely, specific feedback on student work. Support candidates in meeting California administrator performance expectations and standards. Guide candidates through the CalAPA Leadership Cycle. Respond to student requests and inquiries. Maintain records of student assignments. Attend mandatory program meetings, professional development activities, and the Leadership Institute. Qualifications Minimum: Master’s degree and relevant professional experience. Doctoral degree preferred. Candidates must have an understanding of K‑12 credentialing standards, adult learning, coaching methodologies, conflict resolution, equity‑mindful leadership practices, and evidence‑based leadership practices. Salary Salary depends on education and experience, within the specified lecturer ranges.
