We are looking for a dependable Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for someone seeking a very part-time schedule of approximately 10 to 12 hours per week and who enjoys providing organized, hands-on administrative support. You will work closely with HR leadership on onboarding activities, employee documentation, and routine HR coordination while helping maintain accurate personnel information.
Responsibilities:• Support the HR Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks and ongoing departmental needs.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork and tracking completion of required documents.
• Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS to ensure information remains accurate and current.
• Assist with pre-employment screening processing and follow up on outstanding pre-employment requirements.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries and help direct HR-related questions to the appropriate resource.
• Organize and manage HR documents, files, and confidential records with a high level of accuracy.
• Help schedule meetings or check-ins related to hiring, onboarding, and employee support activities.• Prior experience in human resources, HR administration, or a closely related support role is preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and digital employee recordkeeping.
• Working knowledge of onboarding processes and pre-employment documentation.
• Experience assisting with background checks or other hiring support activities is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
• Clear communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach when working with employees and management.
• Availability to work a very part-time schedule of approximately 10 to 12 hours per week.
