Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Surgery and PACU - Full time

We are currently hiring for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) within the Same Day Surgery And Pacu department here at Aspen Valley Health. This is a short-term TEMPORARY position with an anticipated start date of July 5, 2026 and an expected end date of August 30, 2026. Work Shift: Days - 12 Hour Compensation Range: $51.04 - $81.67 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 2+ years of relevant nursing experience required—PACU, ICU, ED, step-down, etc. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred. Experience with EPIC preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. We will consider equivalent combinations of experience and education for certain jobs. Position Overview: The Recovery Room RN / Same Day Surgery RN (PACU & SDS RN) provides professional nursing care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and AVH policy. Utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care. The PACU RN works in support of the medical staff treatment plan and makes recommendations for changes to medical treatment plan as appropriate. The PACU RN educates patients and family around the plan of care and disease management. The PACU RN actively supports the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.
