BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily community in Sacramento, CA 95828 . This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining apartment homes, community amenities, and providing excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including:
  • Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
  • Electrical diagnostics and basic repairs
  • Appliance maintenance and repair
  • Carpentry, drywall repair, and general property upkeep
• Assist with apartment turns, make-readies, and move-in preparations.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests with a positive and customer-focused attitude.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet safety standards and company expectations.
• Support daily property operations and assist the onsite maintenance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
