Physical Therapist (PT)

$10,000 Sign On Bonus Facility: PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Schedule: Monday‑Friday, rotating weekends, rotating holidays Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition. Establish a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires. Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate for the age and condition of the patient. Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Assess competence, delegate specific tasks, and establish communication channels. Administer treatment involving physical agents, using equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines. Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Oregon. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
