Shipping Material Handler - 1st shift

Job Title: Material Handler Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-Hire Location: Rural Hall Shift: 1st shift 6:50am-4:20pm Mon-Thurs / Fri 6:50am-10:50am Pay: $14.50hr Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and distributing materials and products throughout the warehouse or production facility. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely material delivery, and adherence to all safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Store materials in designated locations and maintain organized inventory. Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or shipment. Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and stock audits. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or scanners. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Keep work areas clean and organized. Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies to management.
