Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions. Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment. Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing. Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed. Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Understand and demonstrate the company core values. Background Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting. Experience with working with challenging behaviors preferred. Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field a plus. Critical thinker with a problem‑solving mind. Must be able to work safely and directly with individuals who engage in varying magnitudes of challenging behaviors including but not limited to aggression, self‑injury, property destruction, and elopement. Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds. The ability to climb and descend staircases. Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time. Must be able to utilize quick body movements and PMT techniques as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with learners that exhibit challenging behaviors. Bilingual is a plus.
