Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate with experience designing, configuring, and optimizing warehouse management solutions to improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain performance .

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead warehouse process design, optimization, and configuration activities across WMS platforms to support efficient inbound, outbound, and inventory management operations.
• Configure and maintain WMS rules, workflows, allocation strategies, task management processes, and warehouse execution parameters to improve operational performance.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and business stakeholders to define process improvements, conduct workshops, and align system capabilities with business requirements.
• Design, support, and troubleshoot integrations between WMS, ERP, OMS, TMS, automation systems, carriers, and external partners.
• Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of complex warehouse execution, inventory, and system integration issues.
• Develop SQL-based reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics to monitor warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply Chain Operations, Warehouse Process Design, or Distribution Center Operations.
• Strong expertise with WMS platforms such as SAP EWM/WM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar solutions, including warehouse process configuration, optimization, and production support.
• Proven experience with warehouse system integrations (ERP, OMS, TMS, automation systems), SQL-based data analysis, root cause analysis, and leading warehouse transformation initiatives in high-volume distribution environments.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
