Sr Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal software engineering training or certification, plus 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Practical background in system design, application development, testing, and operational reliability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Strong knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
• Ability to resolve design and functionality issues independently with minimal oversight
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Preferred: experience with code-assist tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Gemini Code Assist
• Preferred: experience in Product Management, Agile, or Scrum environments
• Preferred: knowledge and practical use of AI tools such as OpenAI, Grok, or Gemini

• Provide technical guidance and direction to our business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Influence decisions affecting product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Act as a subject matter expert across one or more focus areas
• Contribute to our engineering community by championing firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices
• Influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt and apply emerging technologies
