The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from./ppCompensation $57,000 - $67,000 DOE/ppResponsibilities/pulliCreate work orders, requisitions and execute purchases per established corporate and contract guidelines/liliExpedite orders as necessary, including any problem-solving and escalation where appropriate/liliProcess all invoices, prepare reconciliations, including vendor statements/liliSupport miscellaneous administrative activities and needs at the plant level/liliMonitor the movement of fuel and raw materials/liliResolve invoice issues with suppliers and implement appropriate root cause corrections/liliUnderstand and utilize SAP reports/liliParticipate in special assignments as requested by the Director of Purchasing, including established conference calls/liliMaintain an accurate, up-to-date record-keeping system of transactions - both electronic and hard copies/liliOrder materials, components, and equipment from approved vendor lists as required/liliSupport miscellaneous administrative activities for plants such as payroll input, attendance reports, vacation tracking, inventory discrepancies, preparing reports (incidents/workers compensation)/liliAssist Managers with planning on-site events and meetings/liliDocument management of purchasing related records/liliAssist the operations team in trainings and meetings as needed/liliRun a mail route weekly to various plants - deliver checks and pick up tickets/liliAssist with ad hoc reporting and analysis/li/ulpEducation/ppHigh school diploma/GED and/or 3-5 years related work experience/ppRequirements/Qualifications/pulliPrevious experience in a purchasing, materials or supply-chain function/liliExperience managing a heavy workload and multi-tasking through a diverse list of customer needs/liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team/liliExcellent customer service, communication, organizational and time management skills/liliDependable and willingness to learn new things/liliHigh degree of accuracy and sense of urgency/liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills/liliFlexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities/liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)/liliShifts may vary; overtime work as needed/liliPreferred: Familiar with ERP system knowledge of SAP a plus/liliConstruction materials industry experience/li/ulpConditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
