Security Officer Site Response in Mauldin, SC – Part-Time Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Details Position type: Part Time Pay rate: $19.50 per hour Schedule: Daytime – Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Thur 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document site activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures. Support site personnel during emergencies, evacuations, and/or restricted area controls by providing direction, maintaining order, and communicating important updates to supervisors and appropriate contacts. Minimum Requirements Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. This is primarily a driving post. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
