Responsibilities: The Optometric Technician & Office Assistant is at the heart of our business, and the role you will play as part of our team is of utmost importance. Our office not only performs comprehensive eye examinations, but we also offer state-of-the-art testing services to those patients who have medically-related eyecare issues. Your duties will be as follows: Working one-on-one with patients utilizing various state-of-the-art office machines for preliminary and extensive vision testing. Reviewing and updating patient medical histories and chart information. Verifying insurance, scanning documentation, answering phones, as well as scheduling and confirming appointments, Assisting patients with any of their eyewear needs or questions. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (required). A minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
