Buyer - Manufacturing

Siemens is looking for a Buyer to join their team in Grand Prairie, Texas Breaker plant. This position ensures raw material availability for our fabrication area to meet customer orders on time, cost‑effectively, and supports actions to improve raw material accuracy. Responsibilities Manage MRP via SAP and place Purchase Orders with internal and external vendors. Review SAP master data, including minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records and provide forecasting as needed. Meet inventory targets, delivery reliability, and cost‑saving initiatives for the site. Handle GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) discrepancies and late purchase order processing. Work closely with production, planning, and customer service to fulfill customer requirements. Support cycle count material quarter counts. Follow up with vendors for confirmation of shipment dates and pricing. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree; candidates with varying degrees considered based on experience and education. 3‑5 years of purchasing experience with MRP system in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
