Audit Senior Associate - Healthcare

About the Team The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services along with accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Employees demonstrate deep specialization and audit quality, working across various business units. Responsibilities Running client engagements from start to finish, including financial statement preparation, internal staffing, project scheduling, budgeting, planning, and related administrative functions. Supervising, training, and mentoring staff and interns on the audit process and assessing performance for engagement reviews. Maintaining an outstanding relationship with clients and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services. Identifying and resolving client issues discovered during the audit process, encouraging creativity and expertise development. Researching and analyzing financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software to review and compile financial information. Engaging with key client management to collect information, resolve audit‑related problems, and recommend business and process improvements. Qualifications 2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience. Experience in external audit with Healthcare clients. Strong organizational, social, technical, accounting and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff. Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision. Ability to multi‑task across multiple engagements concurrently. Ability to perform research on technical matters prior to manager review. Meeting the education requirement for CPA certification in the relevant state; a CPA license is a plus. Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
