POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs and accomplishes minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing necessary to the maintenance, repair and renovation of University Healthbuildings and facilities. Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks Estimates materials, labor costs, and requisitionsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school, trade school or equivalent GED One year experience ofat least two or more building crafts such as general maintenance, construction, plumbing or electricity is required. Must possess a Maintenance Technician License from the City of San Antonio or obtain same within 3 months of employment.
