Luxury Senior Living Communities in Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead is looking for a Dining Room Supervisor for its Brand New Palace at Weston, an Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community located at 16025 Emerald Estates Dr. Weston, FL 33331. Winner of Gallup's Great Workplace Award.

The #1 Priority of this position is to assist the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
• Ability to promote and execute our culture of "Yes".

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent (GED).
• At least two (2) years of experience in supervising dining room staff and food service.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
