Assembly Line Production Associate

The Assembly Line Production Associate performs repetitive bench and line assembly operations to mass-produce products such as swimming pool filters, housings, and cartridges. This role focuses on precise mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapting to different workstations as production needs change.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive bench and line assembly operations to mass-produce swimming pool filters, housings, and cartridges.
• Place parts in the specified relationship to each other, following production drawings, instructions, or templates.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together to create complete assemblies.
• Operate and tend machines such as staple machines and rotary equipment to perform force-fitting and fastening operations.
• Use hand and power tools, including drills, nail guns, wrenches, and hammers, to perform mechanical assembly tasks safely and accurately.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require, maintaining productivity and quality across various stages of the assembly line.
• Perform basic quality checks on assembled products to ensure components are correctly fitted and meet required standards.
• Handle and position materials and components throughout the assembly process, maintaining an organized and efficient work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Meet production goals and timelines by working efficiently and maintaining consistent output.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or moving items up to 75 pounds.

Essential Skills

• Assembly or manufacturing experience, particularly in a production or assembly line environment.
• Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches and hammers.
• Experience working with power tools, including power drills and nail guns.
• Mechanical assembly skills with the ability to fasten parts using bolts, clips, screws, cement, or other methods.
• Ability to perform quality checks on assembled products and identify basic defects or misalignments.
• Comfort working with hydraulics or mechanical systems related to assembly operations.
• Ability to operate and tend machines such as staple machines and rotary equipment for fastening and force-fitting tasks.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months of related experience and/or training in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and safely perform physically demanding tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to adjust focus to handle detailed assembly work and operate tools safely.

• Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing shop environment.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and workflow.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to move between different workstations based on production needs.
• Basic understanding of safety practices when working with hand and power tools.
• Capability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching tasks as part of daily work.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Temp-to-perm mindset with interest in long-term employment and growth opportunities.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non–air-conditioned fabrication shop that manufactures pool filter casings and related components. The position follows a first-shift schedule with a 4x10 workweek, working from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The environment involves standing for extended periods, frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling materials. Employees regularly lift and move items up to 75 pounds and work with hand and power tools such as drills, nail guns, wrenches, and hammers, as well as staple machines and rotary equipment. The facility is production-focused, with an assembly line setup and physically active tasks throughout the shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Riviera Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
