DevOps Platform Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You will incorporate open‑source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up developers to do what they do best—innovate. You will implement continuous integration and delivery, design and develop DevOps pipelines, and use state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to analyze web application errors, investigate application behavior through code and log analysis, and uncover business logic issues. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CodeDeploy, and other cloud‑native tools. Deploy and operate containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters. Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform (and Terragrunt) and configuration with Ansible. Monitor application and infrastructure performance using advanced observability tools. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills and Experience 2+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role. 2+ years of experience deploying containerized applications. 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with Kubernetes. Experience with Agile methods and practices. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or Configuration as Code (Ansible). Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree. Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT LevelII or IAT LevelIII certification within 30 days of hire. Nice to Have Experience with AI/ML/LLM implementations or security. Experience automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production. Experience with GitOps tooling (Flux, ArgoCD, Kustomize). Experience implementing cloud‑native solutions to accelerate application development. Experience with identity authentication and authorization (SAML, OpenID, SSO). Knowledge of Linux/UNIX administration and automation. Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate. Clearance Requirements The position requires Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
