Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience by helping patients navigate scheduling, treatment plans, insurance, and financial arrangements while serving as a supportive point of contact throughout their care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a warm, welcoming experience
• Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and assist with check-in/check-out
• Present treatment plans and explain procedures, costs, and next steps
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations when needed
• Discuss financial options, payment arrangements, and treatment estimates
• Answer patient questions regarding treatment, scheduling, and insurance
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental office experience preferred
• Experience with treatment coordination, front desk duties, insurance verification, and billing
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in dental software ( SoftDent preferred )
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach
