Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027. As an on-site OT, you will make a direct impact on the growth and well-being of approximately 45 elementary-aged children, fostering their success in both educational and functional development. This assignment does not include virtual or VOCO responsibilities—your focus will be as a valued, in-person contributor.

Ideal candidates possess a solid background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy and thrive in collaborative, educational settings. You'll deliver services and interventions that empower students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve essential milestones.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience as a school-based or pediatric occupational therapist preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and evaluation processes
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Dedication to in-person service delivery throughout the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy and collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff members
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create and adapt activities to foster student independence in classroom and school environments
• Remain current with best practices in school-based OT interventions and compliance standards
