Speech-Language Pathologist - Inpatient - Per Diem - Days - MHW

Location Pembroke Pines, Florida Summary Evaluates and treats patient populations for speech and language pathology needs. Responsibilities Supervises and mentors activities of peers, fellows and other support personnel. Collaborates with referring physician and communicates any changes in plan of care. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support resources. Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to issues identified, required frequency of treatments, and involves the patient/family. Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Competencies
