Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin Division: Contract Logistics Job Posting Title: Human Resources/People and Organization Manager Time Type: Exempt Position Summary The HR Manager/Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for providing HR leadership and guidance by working in partnership with business leaders at sites/branches or within functions. Under guidance from senior HR leaders, the role implements strategic HR initiatives in Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management, and Compensation and Benefits. The position executes recruiting strategies for mid‑to‑lower level Professional, Managerial, Administrative/Clerical, and Maintenance/Warehouse positions as required and performs additional HR duties such as retention strategies, legal compliance, payroll, communications, orientation, and training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Partners with business leaders to guide and support business initiatives and align them with the Human Resource strategy. Acts as a change agent, developing transition plans, leading communications and engagement activities, and ensuring managers can handle all people matters. Establishes robust recruitment processes and procedures to attract and retain talent. Implements and administers employee and labor relations programs, projects, and tasks in alignment with company goals. Facilitates or provides training and development, including orientation, to management and staff. Provides coaching and advice to managers and employees for problem resolution and day‑to‑day support. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs. Administers existing programs in accordance with policies and procedures. Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data to recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement. Provides Employee Relations expertise and shapes local ER strategy, ensuring legal compliance and proper handling of employee matters. Promotes diversity‑related initiatives within the assigned area or country. Supports timely and effective communication and administration of deliverables. Utilizes internal and external data, generating and analyzing reports to support business cases and regulatory requirements. Travels as required. Other Duties Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Full personnel responsibility to lead, develop, and coach a team of up to 6 employees. Skills & Abilities Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Social Sciences and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience or equivalent. Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months (mild to moderate range). Computer Skills Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience with HRIS systems. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations Recognized HR Professional Certification preferred. Language Skills Local language required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. English (reading, writing, verbal) required. Mathematical Skills Good mathematical skills. Other Previous experience with payroll processing and timekeeping preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Compensation and Benefits Expected base pay range: $108,000 – $118,000 Annually. Compensation is determined based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
