Welder - 2nd shift

Welder I

The Welder I is responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The Welder I will work under the supervision of senior welders and supervisors to ensure that production goals are met while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Minimal Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• In addition to the competencies mentioned above, there is a minimum of 1 year of welding/fabrication operational experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Welding or similar program from an accredited institution.
• In addition to the competencies mentioned above an ideal candidate would have 3+ years of welding experience.
• Experience with all disciplines of welding.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
