Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Ascension Seton Northwest Hospital Department/Specialty: Step Down Intermediate Care Schedule: Night Shift | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role High-Acuity Care Delivery: Provides expert direct nursing care for intermediate-level patients, strictly adhering to complex clinical policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Vigilant Patient Monitoring: Implements individualized care plans while meticulously tracking and communicating physiological changes to ensure timely medical interventions. Interdisciplinary Leadership: Acts as the primary coordinator across all medical disciplines to ensure seamless, well-synchronized patient care and treatment execution. Strategic Care Coordination: Precisely executes physician orders and leads comprehensive discharge planning to ensure a safe transition for high-risk patients. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
