This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted-access areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
