CNC Set-up | Evaluation Hire

Location: Hamden, CT

Pay rate: $21-45/hr, based on experience

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm or Monday-Thursday, 7 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 7 am to 11 am

Responsibilities:

Set-up and program CNC milling machines, lathes, Swiss
Maintain machines during operation
Assist operators inspect parts
Load and unload materials
Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
Assist in complete first piece inspections
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures
Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC machining or milling experience, we can train if necessary
Experience using calipers and micrometers
Ability to read basic blueprints
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand throughout the shift
