What You’ll Do:

• Support in-office physical assessments, review patient histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to provide effective treatment
• Manage inpatient and outpatient care for adult infectious disease patients
• Conduct preventive health screenings tailored to patient age, history, and needs
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up protocols
• Perform office-based specialty care procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts across healthcare facilities
• Assist in improving outpatient care processes through assessment, problem-solving, and clinical evaluation

What You Need:

Required:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Valid NC PA License and DEA License
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
• Experience with HIV patient care and outpatient settings

Preferred:

• Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
