What You’ll Do

• Support staff including RNs, CMAs, and physicians in infectious disease outpatient settings
• Conduct physical assessments for adult patients, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform preventive health screenings tailored to patient age, history, and needs
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records across multiple offices using the EPIC EMR system
• Perform office-based medical procedures within departmental guidelines
• Assess and improve outpatient specialty care processes through clinical evaluation and problem-solving

What You Need

• Valid North Carolina RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license
• Board certification with a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Minimum of 3 years experience in infectious disease or adult patient care
• Ability to perform physical assessments and interpret diagnostic results
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Certification in BLS (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (if applicable)
