Maintenance Technician, (Setup Tech II 7AM-7:30PM)

Job TitleThis a B1 Shift 7am-7:30pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday & every other WednesdayThis position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Abbvie's Code of Business ConductUnderstands and follows all GMP and Safety regulationsWork with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.QualificationsKnowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)Preferred:6 months of experience with maintenance activities and Mechanical or electrical aptitude Highly DesirableAbility to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic drawings Highly DesirableSome experience with preventative maintenance and demand maintenance Highly DesirableAdditional InformationThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
