Primary Responsibilities Drive revenue by providing clients with exceptional services through relationship building, sharing style and product information, and presenting a clean, safe, and well‑maintained store environment. Consistently meet or exceed store, division, and individual financial and credit goals, supporting overall store objectives. Provide excellent client service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to ANN INC. service standards; build client loyalty and manage multiple tasks across internal and external client interactions. Address client concerns and resolve issues, involving management when appropriate. Maintain a gracious, friendly, energetic, and engaging demeanor, always respectful and professional. Solicit and incorporate feedback for continuous professional growth, regularly receiving positive client feedback. Communicate effectively with store management, team members, and external clients in person, via written correspondence, and over the phone. Build collaborative, productive relationships by sharing ideas, treating others fairly, respecting differences, and valuing teamwork. Serve as a role model, inspiring the team by demonstrating the company’s values through words and actions. Execute all store opening/closing procedures, merchandising tasks, inventory preparation, and loss‑prevention practices in accordance with company policies and local regulations. Operate POS systems, register transactions, process orders using DOM and StyleFinder, and answer phone calls professionally. Apply product knowledge, brand positioning, and current marketing initiatives to every client interaction, while adhering to dress code and packaging standards. Position Requirements Client Service : Serve as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority; take initiative to build a loyal client base. Follow Directions : Prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision within designated timeframes. Merchandising : Apply visual standards and techniques per company guidelines; maintain organized, accessible work areas. Communication : Effectively communicate with clients, management, partners, and associates. Accuracy : Handle cash and provide change without error. Schedule : Remain flexible to meet business scheduling needs. Physical : Lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally; maneuver effectively around sales floor and stockroom. Educational Requirements : High School Diploma or GED; minimum one year of sales associate or relevant experience with proven results.
