We are seeking a results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our market share within the Architect and Design (A&D) community , fostering meaningful, long‑term relationships with our elite clientele. The BDM will be responsible for strategically expanding our client base by fostering deep, collaborative relationships with the Design, Architecture, and Builders communities across the territory. This role requires a blend of exceptional salesmanship, product expertise, and strategic account management skills. Key Responsibilities Identify and target new business opportunities, including kitchen and bath showrooms, custom home builders, architects, and interior designers, to expand our client base. Manage a portfolio of existing key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and secure repeat business. Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and lunch‑and‑learn sessions to educate clients on our premium stone, quartz, and tile products . Meet and exceed established sales targets and business development goals. 2. Design & Product Expertise Utilize specialized knowledge of kitchen and bath design principles to offer natural stone and quartz to countertops and other surfaces applications. Fluently articulate the benefits and technical specifications of materials, including quartzite, marble, and engineered quartz, and their specific application for countertops, backsplashes, and showers . Work closely with clients to understand project scope, material requirements, and aesthetic goals to ensure optimal product selection. Actively network and attend local industry events (e.g., NARI, NKBA, AIA) to build brand awareness and source new leads. Develop and execute strategic territory plans to effectively penetrate the local design and construction market. Gather market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing to inform business strategy. Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of quotes, estimates, and formal Sales Orders. Coordinate logistics and schedule deliveries to ensure seamless material arrival for clients. Maintain accurate sales reports and track performance metrics for your accounts. Direct all administrative tasks related to your orders, ensuring precision from selection to installation. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years in business development, outside sales, or account management within the construction, building materials, or interior design industry. Design Expertise: Mandatory experience in kitchen and bath design (e.g., prior role as a designer, showroom consultant, or specialized materials representative). Product Knowledge: Proven knowledge of natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite), engineered quartz, and/or decorative tile. Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Must be self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing a demanding schedule. Tools: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Stone Profits) and Microsoft Office Suite.
