Aircraft MX Technician

About the Role As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our aircraft fleet. You will be responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in full compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer maintenance manuals. Your work directly supports our mission to provide safe and efficient air travel while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Responsibilities Pre-Flight Inspections: Start your day by “waking up” the aircraft, conducting thorough pre-flight checks to ensure all systems are fully operational before takeoff. Post-Flight Inspections: After each flight, perform detailed post-flight evaluations to identify and address any issues or wear that may have occurred. Maintenance Logging: Document all maintenance activities—whether scheduled or unscheduled— in Traxxall and properly sign off in aircraft logbooks to ensure full traceability and compliance. Hangar Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the hangar. Required Experience High school diploma or GED. Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds. Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of standing. Availability for flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends. Participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with the DOT and FAA guidelines. Ability to operate a forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, etc. Ability to taxi and run an engine on an airplane. Must procure own tool set. Preferred Experience Prior aircraft maintenance experience. Experience working with AMM, IBC, FIM, etc. for troubleshooting references. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Driver's license required. Current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required. Ability to operate in a time-critical situation with strong attention to detail.
