Position Overview As an A&P Technician, you will ensure the airworthiness of aircraft by performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. Requirements Able to understand, read, and write English. Experience with Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320. Thorough familiarity with 14 CFR Part 121 regulations, inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine airworthiness; proficient in using inspection equipment and visual aids appropriate for the articles being inspected. Authorized to approve an article for return to service under the repair station certificate; operations specifications must be certificated under 14 CFR Part 65. Bachelor's Degree. Responsibilities & Duties Ensure shop equipment and tools are in serviceable condition, and conduct required checks and calibrations on special tools and test equipment before use. Confirm that necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders for the assigned work function have been properly executed. Maintain the premises of the repair station clean and orderly. Produce high-quality work in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations. Observe safety precautions relevant to any operation in the maintenance department. Use required technical data (latest revisions) on all aircraft parts, components, and tooling during maintenance. Ensure proper handling of all parts during repair, completion, and storage. Notify the Maintenance Manager of any discrepancies or un-airworthiness found during maintenance operations. Comply with all ADs, Service Bulletins, Advisory Circulars, EO’s and sign work performed. Qualifications FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Line Maintenance.
