Role Overview:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing daily financial records, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, and supporting the client’s accounting operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who is confident using tools such as Xero , MYOB , QuickBooks Online , or similar accounting software. You will help maintain clear financial visibility for the client through timely reporting, reconciliations, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain an organized chart of accounts and digital documentation
• Assist in budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and expense reporting
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits, compliance, and tax filing
• Identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 to 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Xero , MYOB , QuickBooks Online , or similar accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools
• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to adapt to different client workflows and business environments
