Material Administrator

Founded in 1925 and a leader in the production of Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys and Titanium Long products, Valbruna is a private company with 2,800 employees and an annual output of approx. 300,000 tons of specialty steels. Production is primarily focused on Stainless Steels and Specialty Alloys, available in blooms and billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars and threaded rods, with the expressed goal of satisfying the most sophisticated needs of the customer. Job Position: Material Administrator

We are currently seeking a Materials Admin to provide support to our commercial and inventory teams. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including entering orders, tracking shipments, monitoring orders, and order expediting.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial sales team with order management
• Maintain documentation requirements
• Receive and process Purchase Orders
• Track orders and update customers if there are any delays
• Assist with order expedite requests
• Assist with metric tracking
• Support the sales and inventory departments as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and/or 3 years related experience in sales and customer service

• Previous Administrative Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Computer proficiency - Word, Excel, Power Point, AS4000 Environment, BI Server
• Communication, organizational, and time management skills
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required due to ITAR and EAR regulations.
