Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Window & Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing windows and doors in residential settings and takes pride in precise, clean, and efficient work.
Responsibilities:
- Install residential windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Measure and prepare openings for proper fit and installation
- Remove and dispose of existing windows and doors safely
- Apply proper sealing, insulation, and weatherproofing techniques
- Ensure all installations meet local building codes and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners
- Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in window and door installation (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read measurements and use basic math skills accurately
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with retrofit and new construction installations
- Familiarity with different window/door brands and systems
- Basic carpentry and framing knowledge
