Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Regional Float - Womens Services Nurse you will help healthcare consumers by providing comprehensive nursing care across multiple Omaha Metro campuses so they can achieve optimal health outcomes.

Every day you will assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care following the nursing process. You will be expected to demonstrate personal and professional responsibility for ongoing development and maintaining a safe collaborative work environment.

To be successful in this role you must possess at least two years of recent experience managing high-risk pregnant patients infants and postpartum coupled with the ability to travel to multiple facilities on short notice.

• Follow the nursing process which includes: assess plan implement and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological physiological sociocultural spiritual economic and lifestyle factors
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated
• Keep up with Physician orders

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska Iowa or nurse licensure compact.
• BLS: Basic Life Support required upon hire
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required upon hire
• Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in managing high risk pregnant patients antepartum throughout labor and delivery and postpartum. This includes assessing and caring for infants immediately post delivery and throughout the postpartum stay. Experience in the management of patients with diabetes preeclampsia and/or pre-term labor is a requirement.

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
