About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
• Monitor and assess neurological status of critically ill patients, implementing appropriate interventions
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and patient census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Experience floating to step-down or IMC units
