LaSalle Network is hiring a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen compliance programs for a growing, multi-state staffing organization. This Compliance Manager role is ideal for a hands-on compliance professional who enjoys building processes, identifying risk, working with data and technology, and leading a team. The Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, developing training programs, and partnering with HR, Operations, Legal and Payroll to strengthen compliance practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain enterprise-wide compliance programs, policies and governance frameworks
• Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and advise Leadership and Operations on regulations, policies and ethical practices
• Lead, coach and develop the Compliance team, including performance expectations, training, workload management and accountability
• Monitor federal, state and local employment laws and staffing-industry regulations and assess business impact
• Research emerging regulatory requirements, identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organization
• Partner with HR, Operations, Legal and Payroll on compliance initiatives and consistent policy application
• Oversee onboarding compliance, including employment documentation, client-specific requirements, I-9 processes and audit controls
• Build and manage compliance monitoring, auditing and quality assurance programs
• Develop compliance dashboards, KPIs and reporting for executive leadership
• Maintain compliance records, including investigations, audit findings, training records and corrective actions
• Lead enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments and strengthen internal controls and processes
• Lead or support internal investigations in partnership with HR and Legal
• Serve as a confidential resource for compliance questions and ethical concerns
• Oversee internal and external audits and client compliance assessments
• Evaluate compliance vendors and technology to improve efficiency and reduce risk
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, reporting, governance and monitoring systems

Requirements:

• Experience in compliance, HR compliance, staffing compliance, risk or a related field
• Previous people leadership experience, including experience leading a small team
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, reporting and data analysis
• Strong technology skills and comfort learning and utilizing AI tools
• Experience evaluating processes, identifying gaps and implementing improvements
• Knowledge of employment-related compliance and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly in a high-volume environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Operations, Legal and Payroll
• Formal education is not required; relevant experience and knowledge will be considered

Details:

• Compensation: $80,000-$100,000/year, depending on experience
• Benefits: Benefits offered; Medical, Vision, dental, 401(k)
• Location: Hillside, IL
• Work Model: Fully onsite
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, core hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; department coverage spans 7:00 AM-6:00 PM
