About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative, lending, and operational compliance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Compliance Management Program, as well as serving as the Compliance Committee chairperson. This role involves maintaining a thorough knowledge of all relevant banking rules and regulations, and performing duties as the Bank Secrecy Act/OFAC Officer and Community Reinvestment Act Officer. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating potential risk issues, conducting quality control reviews, and ensuring the Bank meets the needs of the community in accordance with CRA compliance goals. Applicants for the Chief Compliance Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience, with a strong background in bank administration, compliance, and supervisory skills. The role requires advanced knowledge of banking products, services, and relevant laws and regulations, as well as excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at dealing with complex problems, work well with minimal supervision, and be committed to upholding the company's values and goals. Responsibilities also include overseeing audits, conducting compliance training, and preparing reports for senior management.
